About the Details in Nature Portfolio My Details in Nature Portfolio reflects my interest in the minutia of the forest floor. In backpacking, because of the terrain, I often find myself looking at the ground (to prevent stumbles and falls) as much as I find myself taking in breathtaking vistas. Thankfully, the forest floor holds beauty that rivals those vistas. This is especially true during the fall when the forest's transformation spills a palate of colors across the ground, so while the spring time occupies me with wildlfowers, autumn offers new subjects. Like my wildflower images, I intentionally print these images small 3 x 4 1/2 inches because to truly appreciate their beauty, one must stop, pause and inspect these subjects up close and in person. All images are available only in 3 x 4 ½ inch prints, double matted to a size of 10 x 12-inches.
